General Data Protection Regulations

On the 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) became law. It aims to strengthen and standardise data protection for all individuals within the EU and will give people more control over how their data is used.

We have to comply with this law and this is our general Privacy Notice:

“Severnside Evangelical Churches, are a group of people which aim  to make disciples of Jesus live as Christian community and reach out to transform society”. Severnside Evangelical Churches are a registered charity (charity number 299325) and is governed  by a leadership team and trustees.

We will use the personal information you give us to communicate church news, organize church activities and invite you to events.

If you donate to the church via a bank we will automatically have your banking details, and if you Gift-Aid we will only use your personal details to reclaim tax.

We promise to do all we can to keep all personal details safe and secure. We will not share your personal data with anyone or any organization without your permission unless required to do so by law. You can ask us to remove your personal data from our records at any time.
